Business Development Executive (Cambridgeshire)
Our client is a rapidly-growing cyber security company with a fundamentally new approach to defending against advanced cyber-attacks, including APTs and insider threats.
The System is based on mathematics and machine learning developed at the University of Cambridge, and detects subtle threats from within the network, in real time. Led by intelligence experts from the UK and US government security agencies, and have over 70 customers and 10 global offices.
They’re  is looking for highly driven & focused commission-based inside sale professional to help drive new business opportunities throughout the UK extending into other countries within Europe.
Based from their office in Cambridge, the Inside Sales Representative will work in an exciting fast-moving sales environment to cultivate opportunities by creatively prospecting & following-up on various marketing campaigns, monitoring inbound lead/website activity and developing target account lists and generating new business within those accounts.
In this demanding role, the Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the marketing and sales organizations and be the initial point of contact that sets the tone for an outstanding customer sales experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
Motivated, competitive self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent telephone manner & etiquette
Demonstrated sales and customer service skill set
Occasionally supporting staff at Trade Shows & Seminars
Experience with SFDC, SugarCRM and LinkedIn
Either 1-3 years’ experience in a sales role / equivalent or a graduate looking to start their career in sales
Bachelor’s degree or the relevant sales experience
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent inter personal skills & tenacity who is keen to further develop their technique by driving up opportunities within their region.
Salary : £20-26k + excellent bonus commission scheme ; first year OTE £40k + , uncapped
